About Mark

Mark’s job title is his mission statement: “CEO stands for Customer Experience Optimization – we’ve done a good job when our solutions delight our clients’ customers.” This claim manifests itself in more than 30 CRM programs with millions of participants around the globe.

Coloyal is not the first CRM and loyalty company Mark has launched: He was part of the founding team and Managing Director of “Rewards Arvato Services” – Arvato’s loyalty unit, whose clients and services he was to take over himself as part of the management buyout almost 12 years to the day after its founding.

As managing partner / CEO of Coloyal, Mark is now particularly focused on international sales, marketing and the further development of the innovative solution portfolio.

Independent partner at eye level

Coloyal was founded in 2019 as part of a management buyout from the Bertelsmann subsidiary “Rewards Arvato Services”. We chose to go independent in order to combine the best of both worlds for our clients: Coloyal relies on a well-established team with over 15 years of experience and networking from international group projects to make its vision of an agile full-service provider for CRM and loyalty programs come true according to its own ideas and with its own budgets.

The most prominent result of our continuous investment in new business models, applications and processes is our Coloyal Loyalty Suite. Today, this modular CRM construction kit enables us to implement almost all requirements for modern client and employee loyalty programs in the shortest possible time with a precise fit and in international markets.

We have designed our organization and work processes – for example in SAP, Confluence, MS Teams, in the HR tool or in the xCat product database – according to our own requirements and streamlined them considerably. Many actions have been automated to such an extent that premium catalogs, CRM campaigns, reports or invoices can be created with just a few clicks. The team is also happy about more generous vacation rules and the option to spend half of their working time in the home office.

All of this is honored not only by the long-standing employees who have helped shape the path to independence to this day, but also by numerous clients who have remained loyal to us and benefit from the short decision-making paths and the new impulses and offers. For them, we now act as an independent partner at eye level, making business models through to the co-operation of loyalty programs more flexible and faster possible.

How we work

At Coloyal, around 35 employees are dedicated to building and operating professional CRM and loyalty programs. In addition to buyers, logisticians and customer managers, IT specialists, web store managers, CRM consultants and marketing and customer service teams work here. From trainees and practical students to experienced sales staff, from 18 to 60 years old – thanks to the diversity in the team, we are able to solve our clients’ diverse challenges in a professional and straightforward manner.

Thinking ahead and acting entrepreneurially is what we expect of ourselves. With a strong team spirit, a cooperative management culture, open communication, plenty of personal freedom and individual support, we manage to master our diverse tasks and to grow beyond ourselves.

Our open, modern offices in the east of Munich promote direct, informal exchange and working in project teams. Those who are in the office take advantage of the good bus and S-Bahn connections, the underground parking spaces including an e-charging station, and the range of fruit, drinks and snacks in the large kitchen. We simply connect colleagues from the home office via video. If you want to move your meeting or lunch break outside, you can move across the street to Zamilapark. And team events naturally take place at the Wiesn, in the nearby mountains (or at Lake Garda).

About Nadine

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Nadine is an accomplished CRM and loyalty expert. In her role as VP Purchasing, she is largely responsible for creating and maintaining a massive portfolio of highly attractive physical and digital rewards, which is available almost worldwide with the help of a fully automated logistics infrastructure.

Nadine has been a member of the Executive Board since 2012. During the asset buyout of Arvato in 2019, she became co-owner of Coloyal. She is responsible for strategic assortment planning, the entire merchandise supply chain and purchasing negotiations with our top suppliers.
