Doing good with points: BahnBonus and Coloyal support earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

 

We at Coloyal do not want to stand idly by. That’s why we not only set up donation bonuses for Turkey and Syria in the BahnBonus benefits program with our partner, Deutsche Bahn, within a few days, but also took action ourselves.

The people in the region are dependent on humanitarian aid. In view of the inadequate supply in hospitals, the medical shortage and the persistently low temperatures, fast help is essential. With BahnBonus, all participants can convert their collected bonus points into donations for Turkey and Syria. From as little as 250 points, 5 euros can be donated to “Bündnis Entwicklung hilft”.

The campaign is already a great success.

Well over 57,000 donations have already been received and the BahnBonus bonus points have raised an impressive sum of over 285,000 euro.

These donations are used to distribute food, water, hygiene items, medicines and heating material. The accommodation in emergency shelters and the supply of hot meals, tents and blankets will be improved. In addition, the psychosocial care of children and young people who have been severely traumatized by the earthquake is being promoted. But also long-term measures for the reconstruction of the destroyed infrastructure are implemented.

The current situation in Turkey and Syria has made it clear to us – this is where we as Coloyal also get involved ourselves. We have donated € 2,500 to “Bündnis Entwicklung hilft” to support the victims in the region. Coloyal is pleased to be able to contribute to humanitarian aid in difficult times with donation awards and our own donations. Every euro counts!
