Three awards for excellent CRM: Coloyal and Nayoki win with “Wetter Aktuell” for Bayer Crop Science

Three reasons to celebrate: Together with our technology and implementation partner Nayoki Performance, Coloyal has been honored with several prestigious industry awards for the “Wetter Aktuell” project. The honors include two Web Excellence Awards (in the categories of Newsletter and Marketing Automation) and the German Marketing Award in the category of Newsletter.

What exactly was honored?

The award went to a service offering highly personalized newsletters that provide farmers with daily location-specific weather forecasts, agriculture-specific recommendations, and market-relevant information. Each mailing is generated individually based on geo-coordinates: weather data, crop-specific information, and regional market developments automatically land in the recipient’s inbox – usually directly from their trusted sales advisor as the sender. Our open rates prove that this relevance makes “Wetter Aktuell” daily required reading for many recipients.

 

Why it works

The strength of the offering lies in the combination of highly relevant content and technical automation:

  • Geo-targeting ensures that all information is precisely tailored to the local area;
  • automated workflows and dynamic templates deliver personalized data, forecasts, and seasonal content at a high frequency;
  • additional PDF versions of the mailing allow printing and use directly throughout the entire company (e.g., as a notice board).

This combination creates real value in the day-to-day business of the recipients and leads to high engagement and acceptance of the campaign.

 

The role of Coloyal and Nayoki

The success is the result of close collaboration: Coloyal contributed its expertise in loyalty strategy, target group segmentation, and content design; Nayoki was responsible for the technical implementation, automation architecture, and integrations for the real-time generation of personalized mailings. Together, we were able to establish a workflow that is both scalable and highly relevant in terms of content.

The platform used for data aggregation and mailing will become even more flexible, powerful, and data-driven in the future—for example, through event-driven architecture and improved infrastructure, so that personalized content can be delivered even faster and in greater bandwidth.
