With the #dasistgrün category, the Deutsche Bahn BahnBonus world shows that sustainability is no longer a niche topic. More than half of the non-cash rewards in the rewards store are sustainable, and the trend continues to rise.

The store offers around 300 non-cash rewards from many manufacturers, so that participants have a wide choice in every prize category.

BahnBonus Rewards World: A Powerful Benefits Program

Over five million participants collect BahnBonus status and reward points with their BahnBonus or BahnCard number when buying Deutsche Bahn tickets. Points can also be collected from partners, and redeemed in the BahnBonus PrämienWelt, managed by Coloyal since 2017.

The PrämienWelt includes sustainable, social, and appealing rewards, all carefully reviewed before being added. For the first time, BahnBonus has combined all rewards into a single, convenient rewards world that is easy to use and promotes long-term loyalty.

Selection, Access, and Seamless Redemption

  • Branded products considered as premiums are carefully tested during sourcing and planning to ensure they match participants’ preferences. This includes trade show evaluations, trend reports, and social media monitoring.

  • At bahn.de/service/bahnbonus, we host, operate, and maintain the rewards store. This brings the wide range of non-cash rewards, donation options, and magazine subscriptions clearly to desktop, tablet, and smartphone users.

  • The rewards world is also integrated into the BahnBonus app, so participants can view and redeem points on the go.

  • Up to 60% of rewards are updated throughout the year, so participants always have fresh redemption incentives.

  • The BahnBonus Reward World is securely linked to the Deutsche Bahn customer account, so that participants can access all websites and exchange data with a single login.

The cooperation with Coloyal is a great benefit for Deutsche Bahn. The BahnBonus PrämienWelt, which was redesigned by Coloyal in 2017 and has since been managed as a full service, continues to meet our demands for a loyalty program for a broad spectrum of participants on a daily basis.
